For best results and longevity, gentle machine wash and hang dry is recommended, however, your Wolf Workwear products are generally safe in household domestic dryers. DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER OR STAIN REMOVER PRODUCTS. These will destroy the reflective material.

SAFETY GLASSES:
Polycarbonate lenses are impact resistant, but not scratchproof. If your glasses become heavily soiled, we recommend washing as much debris off as possible with running water, then gently wiping with lens wipes or tissue paper.

Consumer Law Notice (Australia & New Zealand)

Our warranties are provided in addition to your rights under consumer protection laws in Australia and New Zealand.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA).

Where a product has a failure that cannot reasonably be remedied or is considered substantial under applicable consumer law, you are entitled to reject the goods and choose a refund or replacement.

Built to last, repaired to endure. Wherever possible, we prioritise repair to keep quality workwear in service and out of landfills. Where a defect cannot reasonably be repaired or is considered substantial under applicable consumer law, remedies will be provided in line with your legal rights.

What’s Covered

90-Day Manufacturing Defect Warranty (All Products)

Covers significant manufacturing defects that arise within 90 days of purchase and render the product unusable, excluding normal wear and tear.

Lifetime Manufacturing Defect Warranty (Selected Products Only)

Covers clear manufacturing defects in the core structural components of the garment for its usable lifetime.

Covered components

• Main structural seams
• Primary zippers (e.g. front fly)
• Main fabric panels

Not normally covered

• Pockets and pocket zippers
• Belt loops
• Buttons and snaps
• Reflective strips
• Logos and trims

If a non-core component fails due to a manufacturing defect and makes the garment unsafe or unwearable, it may still be assessed under applicable consumer law.

Examples of Covered Manufacturing Defects

• Front fly zipper pull detaches from the zipper track
• Main seam splits along the leg or rear
• Main fabric tears at stress points due to poor construction
• Primary zipper teeth separate from the fabric

What Does “Unusable” Mean?

Simple test: Can you still wear it to work safely and appropriately?

Unusable (covered)

• Front fly zipper failure
• Major seam failure compromising garment integrity

Still usable (generally not covered)

• Pocket zipper failure
• Loose pocket stitching
• Cosmetic pilling that does not affect structure or safety

How to Make a Claim

Step 1: Contact Us

Email admin@wolfworkwear.com with the following information:

• Name
• Phone number
• Order ID
• Description of the issue
• Clear photos of the defect
  (Claims cannot be assessed without photos.)

Step 2: Assessment

We’ll review your claim and confirm whether it’s covered under warranty or applicable consumer law.

Remedy Options

Repair (Preferred for Remediable Failures)

Where a failure is capable of being remedied:

• Have the item repaired at a local tailor or repair shop
• Send us the repair receipt, photos of the completed repair, and your claim number
• We’ll refund the repair cost to your original payment method, up to NZ$40 (or the equivalent in your local currency)

If a repair is going to cost more than that, contact us before you book it and we’ll sort out a replacement or refund instead.

This approach minimises downtime and keeps your gear in service.

Replacement or Refund

If:

• The defect cannot reasonably be repaired, or
• The failure is considered substantial under applicable consumer law

You may choose a replacement or refund, in line with your legal rights.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

What’s Not Covered

• Chemical, acid, or spark damage
• Normal wear and tear (holes, abrasion, fraying)
• Fading or colour change
• Damage from washing, drying, or storage
• Pet damage
• The altered area of an altered garment, and any damage the alteration causes (the rest of the garment stays covered)
• Normal stretching or shrinkage

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold with mild detergent.
Warm tumble dry.

Do not use fabric softener or stain removers, as these damage reflective materials.

If industrial laundries treat your gear like it’s being cleaned in lava and dried in the fires of hell, that’s outside warranty coverage.

Coverage

This warranty applies worldwide.

Customers in Australia and New Zealand are additionally protected under Australian Consumer Law and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

How do I know if my product has a lifetime warranty?
It will be clearly stated in the product description at the time of purchase.

What if I can’t find a local repair shop?
Contact us — we may arrange for the item to be returned to us for repair.

How do I get paid back for a repair?
We refund the repair cost to your original payment method, up to NZ$40 (or the equivalent in your local currency). Where a refund is required under applicable consumer law, it will also be issued to the original payment method.

Can I get my gear altered to fit?
Yes, and we’ll pay for it. See our Fit Guarantee.

What if my replacement item is no longer available?
We’ll offer an equivalent current model or store credit.

Business-to-Business Sales (New Zealand Only)

Where products are supplied for business purposes in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, to the extent permitted by law.

60 days to decide - Return or exchange items within 60 days of purchase for any reason.

No restocking fees - We don't charge you extra for changes of mind.

Simple requirements - Items just need to be unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, and in original packaging.

Right size, but still not quite perfect? - Check in with us first, then get it altered by a professional and we'll pay for it, up to NZ$40 (or local equivalent), back to your card or as store credit. Altered items can't be returned. See our Fit Guarantee.

Wrong item sent - Our mistake, our fix. Contact us and we'll sort it out at no cost to you.

Socks & Underwear - Final sale for hygiene reasons.

Failure to meet the requirements above may result in the return or refund request being denied and the original item being sent back to you.

FREE GIFTS - If you wish to return an order for a refund and received free gifts when placing your order, ALL free gifts must be returned when sending back your other products for refund. If the free gifts are not returned, the retail value of these will be deducted from your refund total before refund is processed.
